Born in İzmir, Güzide Çalışal graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Sculpture in 2016.

 

In 2014, she studied at the Accademia Belle Arti di Roma as part of the ERASMUS program during her university education. During this period, she took part in the joint project exhibition of 'Una Artista Per Una Rosa' in Capitale Sala Santa Rita - Rome under the leadership of the 'Una Rosa' project of the Academy.

 

During her education in Rome, she held the 'Easy Row 21 DEF' exhibition at Gughy Art Studio in Rome with her own works.

 

Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome's Macro 'The Rose' project is a continuation of 'La Vie En Roses' found in contributions from exhibitions to Turkey.

 

In 2015, she participated in the group exhibition of the Erdemir Group within the scope of the 'Steel and Life' National Steel Sculpture Student Competition at the Mimar Sinan University Tophane-i Amire Culture and Art Center, and later her work was accepted into the Erdemir Group's Private Collection.

 

During her university education, she performed Homage work 'BEAMS-Yoko Ono' within the interdisciplinary course content and her own 'Recycle' and 'Wet' personal installation exhibitions outside the scope of indoor space.

 

Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Fine Arts, Sculpture Department, with the participation of undergraduate and graduate students, participated in the 'Balance' exhibition of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality

 

In addition, Graphic Department students participated in 'Migration', DEÜ Sculpture Department 'Mixed Sculpture Exhibition' and 'Z Report' group exhibitions.

 

After graduation, she participated in the 'Immortal Tree Sculpture Workshop in Gallery Kırmızı in 2016 and her work is in a private collection.

 

Participated in Dokuz Eylül University Fine Arts Faculty Sculpture Department 30th year joint exhibition in 2017.

 

In the same year, she made the presentation of the sculpture 'Aziz' (Saint) together with the concert of commemoration of Ali Aziz Dağdelen.

 

In 2017, she participated in the Small Works Group Exhibition in Academico, curated by Serdar Yörük.

 

In the same year, she took part in the IV. Young Art Days exhibition organized by Galeri Kırmızı.

 

She participated in the 'Existence of Nothing' group exhibition at the beginning of 2019 at the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center.

 

'11th Terrace Exhibition' 'Is There Life in the World?' Organized by Elgiz Museum. She participated in the exhibition in 2019.

 

In 2020, 'New Year' exhibition participated in İzmir Women's Museum.

 

Continuing her sculptures in 2020, Güzide Çalışal has recently realized 'Some' - Special Collection.
